Labor Day weekend...a time for parents to take their kids on one last trip out of town before the school year really kicks in and a time for the early twenty-somethings to throw that last summer party. Next vacation will be...Thanksgiving...two more months. argh!

When you haven't seen your friends for a while and push seeing them to a three-day holiday weekend, boy, is it tiring. Lots of fun but you pay the price the next few mornings when you end up hitting snooze several times and end up arriving late to work anyway. :p

On Monday, loreal and I took a trip to the Great Mall area. She knew this great little Vietnamese place that sold the really yummy (and cheap) Vietnamese sandwiches. So GOOD! Haven't had one in a LONG while. At the mall, she introduced me to a cheaper-than-forever-21 store ("does this place really exist?" you might ask. The answer is "yes.") And they organized the sales racks by color! Isn't that amazing? Usually sales racks are a medley of everything and anything related to clothing. Definitely a day of education. :)
