Security
They have hyped up security at work. I forgot my badge earlier this week. So when that happens, you just tell the security guard your employee id (yes, this is how they keep track of us peons), answer their question (what's your extension etc), and they let you pass.
Well, this time I had to be warned that
Gee, what a welcome to work.
Also, their system was wacked out that day such that I didn't even appear as an employee. I had to get a coworker to sign me in as a guest. Had to be escorted in and out of the building. sheesh!

- they keep a record of who forgets to bring their badge and submits it to the company
- they will notify my manager if this behavior continues
