Be a Man!

Now I'm unofficially managing two developers in India. (Unofficially means that I'm NOT a manager, I'm NOT paid to manage them, and my title reflects that I'm not even supposed to be managing anyone.)

Unfortunately, one of them is a) arrogant and b) getting on my nerves. The other one is awesome <- like very much working with him.

So, after getting a chance to hear how upper management peeps speak to the peons, I've decided that in talking to that one guy in particular, I'm going to talk like an aggressive and authoritative male manager that tolerates none of his antics.

Sometimes being nice to people at work just doesn't cut it.
