All right, so we live in a predominantly Christian nation. The lovely company that doles out my paycheck gives us (i.e., employees in the U.S.) Christmas Day off. It might actually kill the top executives to give the employees here Christmas Eve off as well.
Our South Asian counterparts are in a predominantly Hindu nation. They're only 20% Christian at the most. But they get BOTH Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off.
Does any of this make sense?!?!?!
