Today is the beginning of the new lunar year.

Funny thing I learned last night: The wife celebrates Chinese New Year's with her husband's family but on the second day after the New Year's, she takes her husband home to celebrate with her own family. Therefore, in Taiwan, on the second day, there's a lot of traffic! :p The sad reason is that they've made this a tradition because cruel mother-in-laws prevented many wives from visiting home back in the days.
