Chuck E. Cheese!
Today we took the 2 oldest kids to Chuck E. Cheese. They had never heard of it before so they showed minimal interest and wanted to bring their toys with them. Once they stepped into Chuck E. Cheese, you could tell that they were completely fascinated with this new playland.
Zach, the 2.5 year old, rotated through the rides multiple times - Bob the Builder, Barney's train, fire engine, carousel, and Teletubbies. There was a maze of colorful tubes that was suspended from the ceiling. Zachy got lost in it and we had to send Cass (4 yrs old) to rescue him. There was actually a little girl that DID get lost in the maze and her mother had to go in to get her out. eek.
Most of the kids there were surprisingly well behaved. For a popular crocodile bashing game, there was a small line. After Cassie had finished playing, Zachy just put in his token and began playing, disregarding the line. But the two little boys in line didn't make a fuss - they said "go ahead" and patiently waited for us to finish up. I guess kids are better behaved than I thought!
So we're staying an extra day since it has been so wet and windy.
Hope everyone had a Happy New Year's!! :)
