"Frustrated, Incorporated"
Two incidents today have caused me to conclude that I must work with the most brilliant people.
Incident One: Coworker1 and I were working on a bug. I had already documented what components needed to be fixed, several times. And what do I get this morning? An email asking me what components need to be fixed. READ THE FREAKING BUG that I documented!!!!! How many times do I need to repeat the list of components?!?!
Incident Two: On the phone yesterday for an hour trying to figure out a timing discrepancy with Coworker2. We went through a list of possibilities. I had emailed him previously to show him where the timing discrepancy was located and since he had a better understanding of what it was, I asked him to email our team to explain what he had found. Ok, this guy just sidestepped what I asked and just pointed out something else. WELL, finally I got the feeling that he was a lazy ass who did not want to send the email. So I had to send the freaking summary email of our discussion. And during yesterday's conversation, he asked if I had used the same code to test on the two different environments - I replied yes. Well, he had the NERVE today to reply to my summary email and ask if I had used the same code to test on both environments. YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!
Freaking learn to LISTEN!!
ARGH, now I know why people gun down their coworkers.
