Not-so-early bird
I almost laughed out loud this morning when I saw an email sent on Sunday night requesting that I attend a meeting at 8am on Monday morning...and to CALL Monday morning to confirm my attendance.
Ok, these people have to realize that I don't check my office email before going to sleep at night - I'm not THAT dedicated of an employee. Also, people in our office roll in somewhere between 10am and 11am. If you come in earlier, no one knows. And then they frown at you when you leave early. It's just not worth coming in early unless you make sure everybody knows that you come in early - that's just obnoxious.
Silly people just have to realize that I'm not paid enough to actually check office email over the weekends, when I'm not expecting anything. :p
