Weekend
This was definitely a lazy hazy weekend just about us.
* Dim sum with family friends. The first thing they asked me was why I wasn't at the party. "Um, what party?" Apparently they threw a farewell party for my brother around New Year's when I was out of town...and I was never told about it. Hm...
* Went to see Memoirs of a Geisha and were surprised that the theater was packed. The old guy sitting next to me definitely did not like the movie as he kept sighing (as in bored sighs) throughout the movie. At least he sat through it so it must've been his wife who really wanted to see it. He hustled them out of the theater immediately after the credits started rolling. Anyway, I enjoyed the movie. They had to change the plot of the story a bit in order to achieve a reasonable film length. Wished they showed more kimono shots. Little Chiyo is so cute!
* Ordered The Sims Bustin' Out from amazon. Soon, my DH and I will be living in a virtual world! (I must set a time limit for this game though. You can get sucked in so easily.)
* Rollerbladed for the first time in over a year. I put my Superfeet inserts into the blades to help with my arches. I need to build up my foot muscles again - am now such a wimpy rollerblader.
* DH and I walked 30 minutes one way to go get Rick's Rather Rich Ice Cream. Enjoyed the ice cream as we walked another half hour home. Haven't done such a long walk since leaving Boston.
