Less than three weeks to go...
Yeah, so I thought I would be done with flowers. But isn't this one pretty??

So far each night, starting last week, we've been doing wedding stuff. It's amazing how many little things we have to do still. But over the weekend, I definitely made some good progress. =)
Saturday morning, drove up to SF. While fiance went to park the car, I jumped out of the car with chipao and shoes in tow to get the chipao altered. The lady at the store was really sweet - after pinning, she said asked if we were in a hurry. She explained that if we weren't in a hurry, we could go eat a lunch and come back around 2pm to pick up the chipao. Hehe, I was thinking that if we weren't in a hurry, we would come back in a few days to pick it up. Thank goodness! =)
So, still carrying my shoes, we went to look for a tiara in Chinatown. I had heard of a store that carried a good selection of affordable tiaras (meaning, not those $200+ ones). Went in but no tiaras. Went to a store right across the street from it and found it! =) A very very good price. Who really wants to spend more than $100 on something you get to wear ONCE...or keep it for your kids wear during Halloween.
Then we went around Chinatown looking for a certain congee restaurant as well as a certain bakery that specializes in a type of bun that fiance and I were craving. Walking around, we finally it! =) I'm constantly amazed by the taste of the food as well as the low prices in Chinatown. Too bad it doesn't extend to the rest of the city. At the bakery, we bought four dozen buns - two for ourselves, one for my parents, and one for my parents to give to a family friend that also likes these buns. heehee. :p
Most of Sunday was devoted to looking for a certain type of paper that I needed. It's so hard to find the perfect paper when you already have something in mind. Dropped by the farmer's market to pick up fresh fruit. The strawberries this year aren't as sweet or big as last year's. But at least the ones in the farmer's market looked decent compared to the supermarket ones. In the afternoon, went to the local mall with fiance to look for my paper. I think we went to all three paper stores there. Fiance was like "How many paper stores does this mall HAVE?!?!" heehee.
But I found what I was looking for! =)
